Brighton & Hove Friends of the Earth is the local Friends of the Earth group in the city, but we often get involved in issues covered by the Greater Brighton area or the World Biosphere.

Brighton Conservation Volunteers carry out a wide range of countryside tasks in the city and further afield, with the aim of managing and enhancing the natural environment.

Checking the flocks of sheep used to conservation graze chalk downland green spaces across the city. Volunteers are trained in sheep welfare and grazing hardware. They can then choose sites and dates from a rota.
