Event Details

Come and join volunteer leader Kirsty Sloman to discover the summer flowers at Racehill Community Orchard. Kirsty will lead you on a walk focussing on identifying wild and native species of plants and flowers.
Kirsty lead a walk in May looking at the spring flowers, now this walk in July will look at a different set of flowers. The orchard is a riot of colour at this time.
This is a free, family friendly event, though children must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Tea and biscuits provided. You are welcome to bring a picnic and enjoy Sunday lunch in the orchard at the end of the walk.
What to bring:
Sturdy footwear must be worn and arms and legs covered due to brambles and stinging nettles etc. Bring your own picnic for lunch at the end of the walk.
Open to all – children welcome. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
