Come and join volunteer leader Kirsty Sloman to discover the summer flowers at Racehill Community Orchard. Kirsty will lead you on a walk focussing on identifying wild and native species of plants and flowers.
Kirsty lead a walk in May looking at the spring flowers, now this walk in July will look at a different set of flowers. The orchard is a riot of colour at this time.
This is a free, family friendly event, though children must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Tea and biscuits provided. You are welcome to bring a picnic and enjoy Sunday lunch in the orchard at the end of the walk.
What to bring:
Sturdy footwear must be worn and arms and legs covered due to brambles and stinging nettles etc. Bring your own picnic for lunch at the end of the walk.
Who:
Open to all – children welcome. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
